Audi Korea announced on Sunday that it will launch the new Audi A6 45 TFSI Quattro, a premium business midsize sedan. The new A6 will consist of two trims: Quattro and Premium. It has a more sophisticated and sporty design that shows the identity of the next-generation Audi design language, the widest body among competing models in its class, stronger performance and superior fuel efficiency, and state-of-the-art convenience and safety specifications.

First of all, the A6 model is a premium business sedan and best-selling model that shows the essence of the Audi brand. In particular, the highest level of safety has been proven to match the premium business sedan, as the company obtained five stars, which is the highest grade, in a crash test by Euro NCAP, a European safety assessment agency, and was selected by the U.S. Highway Safety Insurance Association (IIHS) as Top Safety Pick+, which is only given to vehicles with verified safety.




The powertrain combines a 2.0 litre series4-cylinder gasoline direct injection turbocharger (TFSI) engine with a 7 speed S Tronic automatic transmission to deliver maximum power of 252 horsepower (@5,000-6,000 rpm) maximum torque of 37.7 kg.m (1600-5,000 rpm). The output is transmitted through a full-time four-wheel drive system, Quattro, rolling the vehicle, showing off its agile and dynamic driving performance with a maximum speed of 210 km/h (safety limit speed) and 6.3 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h from standstill. Combined fuel economy is 11.4 km/L (city center 10.0 km/L and high speed 13.7 km/L)



The interior includes a 10.1-inch touch-based MMI infotainment system at Centerfessia, an 8.6-inch air-conditioning controller monitor, and a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit digital instrument panel. The high-tech interior exudes a clean yet intelligent image. One of the features is the minimization of mechanical buttons. On top of this, a horizontal line extending from the central display to the passenger seat emphasizes a cool sense of space, and conveys the feeling that a naturally flowing curve envelops the occupants.




On top of that, thanks to increased battlefields and wheelbase lengths compared to previous generations, it has secured the widest space compared to its front and rear headroom and its equivalent rival models. In particular, the premium line comes with a "premium air package" that measures the air quality outside and inside the vehicle and manages the air quality through visualized information, which helps keep the air quality inside cleaner and more comfortable.

Also included are Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Audi Connect, 4 Zone Air Conditioning, Smart Phone Wireless Charging, Panorama Sunroof, Half Power Door, Electric Trunk (Burgeal Pedal), Electric Trunk (Burder) and driver’s seat. In addition, wheel design is applied in appearance differently with 18-inch 5-am and premium 18-inch multi-spoke design by trim.

The new A6 is set to compete in the same class as the Benz E-Class and BMW 5 Series, and is expected to aggressively tap the market with aggressive price promotions. The domestic sale price ranges from 66.79 million won to 70.72 million won.
